is passionate about Mississippi County and inspiring change that will positively impact the lives of both current and future generations. She says, “It is an honor to serve the citizens of Mississippi County, Arkansas. I will remain focused on alleviating poverty and providing high quality services in an effort to help low-income residents achieve self-sufficiency. Furthermore, community action is an area where we can all get involved. When one person helps individuals and families reach their full potential, it has a positive impact on all.”
Quality, commitment, and leadership are important to Ms. Johnson. She is presently a member of the President’s Council at Arkansas Northeastern College, Arkansas Cancer Coalition, Mississippi County Cancer Council, Arkansas Community Action Association, Blytheville Youth Coalition, Mississippi County Inter-Agency, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., Lambda Sigma Omega Chapter. Previously, she served on the Board of Directors for the Blytheville/Gosnell Chamber of Commerce and graduated from the Blytheville Leadership Institute and STAND Foundation.
Holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Priscilla Johnson graduated Magna Cum Laude from Franklin University. Along with husband Curtis, and two children (Kadeem and Bobbie), Priscilla has lived in the Blytheville area her entire life. She is a member of Temple of Praise and enjoys reading, yardwork, golfing, and spending quality time with her family.
