MCAEOC Early Childhood Education Department is accepting applications for the following positions:
Health and Safety Coordinator: Monitor facilities for compliance with state, local and federal regulations and safety protocols. This person will assist with purchasing equipment needed to maintain facility functions such as air, electrical, and other general building maintenance and will assist with the inspection of vendor repairs for any necessary installations, repairs and prepare reports.
Center Operation Specialist: Applicant must have a baccalaureate or advance degree in early childhood education.
Teacher: Applicant must have an AAS degree in early childhood education or related field
Teacher Assistant: Applicant must have a CDA or enrolled in CDA class
Floater: Applicant must have a high school diploma, CDA is preferred
Family Service Advocate: Applicant must have a credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling or a related field and be able to work with Head Start children and families.
Registered Nurse: Applicant must have a valid Arkansas Nursing license and experience is preferred.
Secretary: A college degree with experience is preferred. Applicant must be able to type 45 wpm and know how to use Excel, Microsoft Word and have general computer and office equipment knowledge.
Kitchen Staff: Applicant must be able to cook and read recipes; basic math skills are needed.
Behavioral Intervention Specialist: Applicant must have considerable knowledge of the techniques and principles of child and family development, family systems theory, crisis therapy intervention, individual, family, group and play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and trauma response, child abuse and family violence, and trauma focused interventions. Master’s degree in Social Work, plus licensed through the state board to practice in Arkansas. At least three years’ experience in providing therapy to children and families.
